Over 85 years of experience - a solid foundation

We can look back on a long and successful history in Peru. The first branch office of  Ferrostaal in Peru was opened in Lima in 1922: one of the first subsidiaries in South America. Ever since, we have established close ties with the Peruvian industry, private and public institutions. Together with our partners, we have taken on a pioneering role and introduced innovative technologies and products across a wide range of different economic sectors.

Supply of MAN Diesel engines for the fishing industry

First combined cycle gas turbine power plant with heat recovery boiler, La Chilina, Arequipa supplied to SEAL – Electric Society of Arequipa

Turnkey contract for a diesel power plant in Tintaya (18 MW) – 4,200 m above sea level, MAN Diesel engines

1997

Turnkey contract for a diesel power plant in Mollendo (30 MW) for EGA S.A., Arequipa, MAN Diesel engines

2004

EPC contract for the supply of a 6.5 km long conveying system with spreader for Southern Peru Cooper Corp., Toquepala

2004

EPC contract with Edegel S.A. for the modernization of a hydroelectric plant in cooperation with Voith Siemens Hydro Power Generation in Callahuanca – Lima, Peru

2005

Supply of highly automated 5-colour offset printing press – the first in Peru – to Industria Gráfica Cimagraf
